Sometime back in 2018, I had posted about my doctor wife's journey in Switzerland to become official doctor.

It gives me immense pleasure to announce that journey of my wife to become qualified MD is over yesterday on 22 Sept 2023 when she "Passed" her MD Pathology exam with 90% at Bern, Switzerland.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all migrant doctors all across the world who continue to chase their dreams despite the adverse conditions they go through to prove who they are and what they can do and they can remain what they are irrespective of where the are. All you need is perseverance to chase your dreams.
I like to express immense gratitude to all the people who helped her in her journey. There are countless number of people who helped here. Without them it was just not possible.
.... and the unseen force The God who we knew was the guiding force with us all the way.
Just to refresh the time lines
It took my wife 10 years to become MD Pathologist in India.
It took my wife 14 years to become MD Pathologist in Switzerland.
Here is the path to Success:
2 yr getting to know the country and finding out process
1 yr to know the French language
2 yrs of on the job french experience and waiting for permit C
3 yrs of exp in university hospital to become eligible to write exam given by final year medicine student (both theory and practical)
1 yr of preparation for theory exam
1 month of practical experience in Morges Hospital
2 weeks of practical experience in CHUV
5 yrs to get MD degree in Switzerland
Wish her a great success and time she re-invested in her education will help her excel her further in her field
Her career will just take off from here reaching out to the skies ... over the moon......
