Felicitation, Bravo:A Journey From A Doctor To A Doctor

Felicitation, Bravo

A journey has its meaning when we reach our final destination. A journey has a meaning when it is done in adverse conditions.....A journey has a meaning when it follows unexplored path ... A journey has a meaning when you know you are the one who leading it... A journey has a meaning when taken by a common person to become uncommon....A journey has a meaning when it takes you through the world of unknowns, world of rejections to the world of hopes and world of endless possibilities ... A journey has a meaning that makes you believe in yourself...A journey has a meaning when everything seems impossible but you take it on as a challenge... A journey has a meaning when it is defined by sheer hard-work, perseverance and patience ... A journey has a meaning where you meet people that guide you through ... A journey has a meaning when you know you are not alone but blessed with strong support from family and  well wishers...A journey has a meaning where at times we thought local people are more flexible and helpful compared to the immigration and local authority ....A journey has a meaning when it is successful despite all the adverse conditions... A journey has a meaning when you are out there to prove nothing is impossible ... A journey has a meaning when it becomes part of your dream and then make you dream of world of opportunities... A journey has a meaning when you know you wont get most of it but teaches you to do most of what you get .... A journey has a meaning when you are not treated as equals but you still have determination to prove you are nothing but equal ... A journey has a meaning where you ride on disappointments, discouragements to conquer the world...A journey has a meaning when we know The God is with us...

A journey has meaning when it does not remain just a journey but a story which needs to be told to everyone.... a short one for now :-)

Arti is doctor from a well known institute from India and migrated to Switzerland after marriage. Medicine degrees are not valid in any country from other countries and you have to go through the local process of recognition. Its lot easier in places like US or UK where english is spoken language  and there is pre-established process with so many migrants already taking that path but not so easy in Europe where it is very closed and local languages like French, German make it more difficult.

Here is a path to Success:
2 yr getting to know the country and finding out process
1 yr to know the French language
2 yrs of on the job french experience and waiting for permit C
3 yrs of exp in university hospital to become eligible to write exam given by final year medicine student (both theory and practical)
1 yr of preparation for theory exam
1 month of practical experience in Morges Hospital
2 weeks of practical experience in CHUV

As we reached our destination today after 9 long years we as a family like to thank people who helped us get here

Congratulation Arti, my wife, for clearing medicine exam in Switzerland and formally being recognised as a Swiss Doctor

Felicitation, Bravo Arti. You will inspire many more for years to come.

SIMPLY AWESOME.
